ORDER :
In this writ petition, the petitioner has questioned the order, dated 14th December 2009, passed in O.P.No.6 of 2006, by the Election Tribunal-cum-Junior Civil Judge, Rayadurg.
The petitioner is elected as Sarpanch of Nemakal Grampanchayath. His election is questioned by the 2nd respondent on various grounds before the Election Tribunal-cum-Junior Civil Judge, Rayadurg, in O.P.No.6 of 2006. The said O.P. is partly allowed, directing recount of ballot papers as per A.P. Panchayat Raj Rules, 1995.
When this matter has come up for hearing, it is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that the petitioner was elected in the year 2006 for a period of five years and in view of expiry of the elected term itself, the subject matter of the writ petition has become infructuous.
In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
