ORDER:
The grievance of the petitioner is that his land is sought to be acquired by the respondents without following due process of law.
In the counter-affidavit filed by respondent No.2 it is stated that the land of the petitioner to an extent of Acs. 4.42 cents in Survey No.423 of Pillalapalli Polam Village, Brahmasamudram Mandal (formerly in Kalyandurg Tahasil Office), Anantapur District is not required for the present and absolutely no proceedings or steps are initiated to acquire the same for the purpose of providing house sites to the weaker sections and therefore, the apprehension and the averments made in the writ petition are misconceived.
In view of the above, no further orders are necessary in the writ petition and the same is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
