O R D E R:
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus, in essence, to direct the Revenue Divisional Officer, Rajampet, YSR Kadapa District to deal with the appeal said to have been preferred by the petitioners bearing Reference No.1986 of 2010 at the earliest.
It is stated that the petitioners herein have preferred the appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Rajampet and the same was numbered as Reference No. 1986 of 2010, however, he is not taking up the said appeal for consideration.
In the facts and circumstances, I consider it appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent Revenue Divisional Officer to take up the appeal bearing Reference No. 1986 of 2010 and deal with the same in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this, the Writ Petition stands disposed of with the consent of the learned Government Pleader for Revenue (Andhra Area). No costs.
