ORDER:
The three petitioners herein appeared to have lodged applications in the office of the Special Officer and Competent Authority, Urban Land Ceilings, Hyderabad, by applications bearing Nos.7570 and 633 on 04.09.2008 and 29.08.2008, seeking regularization of the land under their occupation situated at Kondapur area of Serilingampalli Municipality. It is also stated that the petitioners 2 and 3 have paid Rs.1,43,660/- while the 1st petitioner has paid Rs.2,04,000/- towards the regularization fee. These applications have not been disposed of so far. The petitioners appear to have also enclosed copies of the registered sale deeds through which they have acquired the lands for valuable consideration, to demonstrate that they have unknowingly purchased plot Nos.227 and 218 respectively. These applications are not dealt with so far.
2. Since more than two years period has already elapsed, it is only appropriate that the respondents take up for consideration the applications filed by the petitioners herein and deal with the same in accordance with law and communicate the decision taken thereon to the petitioners, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This order has been passed as consented to by the learned Government Pleader for Revenue.
3. In the result, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
