CRIMINAL PETITION No.12497 of 2011
ORDER:
Petitioner approaches this Court with a prayer to quash the proceedings in CC No. 168 of 2011 on the file of the Additional Junior Civil Judge, Repalle, Guntur District for the offence under Section 498A read with 34 IPC and 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
2. Heard.
3. After arguing for sometime, the learned counsel for the petitioner while not pressing the main prayer, confined his arguments only to the extent of dispensing with the presence of the petitioner before the trial Court.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the presence of the petitioner before the trial Court is dispensed with except on the dates the learned Judge insists for the same.
5. The Criminal Petition is, accordingly, dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions pending in this criminal petition, if any, shall stand closed.
