O R D E R
This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the Regional Manager, Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), Tirupati, in not admitting the petitioner to duty in spite of production of a fitness certificate issued by the competent medical authority.
The APSRTC filed a counter stating that the petitioner was removed from service under proceedings dated 27.09.2000 and that the petitioner refused to receive the same. The record reflects that the learned Standing Counsel for the APSRTC was directed by this Court on 29.03.2001 to serve a copy of the termination order upon the learned counsel for the petitioner. The counter records the fact that such service was effected in open Court on the very same day. In view of the removal of the petitioner from service, the question of admitting him to duty on the basis of a medical certificate does not arise.
The writ petition is devoid of merit and is accordingly dismissed. No costs.
