The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“…. to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the awarding process adopted by respondent No.1 in relation to Unique Identity Enrolment Project initiated by RFQ dated 8-92010 as illegal, arbitrary and hence violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India and consequently to set-aside the awarding proceedings and recall the letters of intent issued to respondent Nos.2 to 8 in respect of such number of stations that were allotted to each one of them in excess of what has been applied for by each of them and to declare the action of respondent No.1 in so far as allotting 100 stations alone to the petitioner as against 400 stations applied and are eligible as per the tender awarding process for as being illegal, arbitrary, unfair, whimsical and to direct respondent No.1 to allot 300 stations in UID Project in Srikakulam District…”
At the hearing Sri Shaik Jeelani Basha, learned counsel for the petitioner stated that as the relief claimed in this Writ Petition was granted by the respondents after filing of the Writ Petition, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication.
In view of the above submission of the learned counsel, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, WPMP No.37880/2010 is dismissed as infructuous.
