ORDER: (per the Hon’ble Sri Justice B.Prakash Rao)
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned Advocate General on behalf of the respondents herein.
The main allegation made in the writ petition filed by the petitioner, who is the father of the detenu viz., Smt.Venkateshan Siddhammal, is that while she was travelling in a train she disappeared and not traceable from Vizag. Hence, the writ petition.
In the counter-affidavit filed on behalf of the respondents it is stated that in spite of the aforesaid allegation no complaints have been filed. However, after making investigation, the respondents have produced the alleged detenu.
The detenu is present in the Court. After enquiry, she stated that even though she is married she wants to go along with her father, who is also present in the Court.
Having regard to the production of the detenu and in view of her specific statement that she would go along with her father, no further orders are necessary.
The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No order as to costs.
