ORDER:
This writ petition has been filed by Pushpa S.Agarwal with a prayer to issue writ, order or direction more particularly in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in disconnecting the power supply to the petitioner’s service connection bearing No.A9 016182 including the other flats of Mathrusri Apartments bearing Plot No.376/B, Road No.82, Film Nagar, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
2. The petitioner obtained service connection bearing No.A9 016182 while the apartment was under construction in Plot No.376/B, Road No.82, Film Nagar, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Since there were dues under the said service connection, the respondents demanded the same. Apprehending disconnection of the service connection bearing No.A9 016182, petitioner has
approached this Court invoking jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
3. When the writ petition came up for admission on 24.8.2009, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents stated that the authorities are not making any efforts to disconnect the power supply and sought time for filing counter.
4. It is now represented by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner is prepared to pay the bill covered under Service Connection No. A9 016182 provided the particulars of the bill are furnished to him.
5. Such is the situation; I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing the respondents to furnish particulars of the amount due under the Service Connection No. A9 016182 and on furnishing the said particulars the petitioner shall pay the bill amount.
6. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
