O R D E R:
This contempt case is filed alleging violation of an interim order dated 19.09.2003 made in W.P.M.P.No.24835 of 2003 in W.P.No.19815 of 2003, whereunder all the parties were directed to maintain status quo as on that date with regard to the possession of the properties in question.
Since the main writ petition is still pending, I am of the opinion that the petitioner could have taken the necessary steps in the writ petition itself and initiation of the proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act is not warranted at this stage.
Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed, leaving it open to the petitioner to take the necessary steps for redressal of his grievance, if any in the main writ petition. No costs.
