2. This writ petition is filed for a writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondents in not considering the representation of the petitioner dated 02.11.2009 for according permission to undertake the

work of quarrying and lifting of sand in the adjoining leased area under Andhra Pradesh Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1966 as being arbitrary, illegal, unconstitutional and violative of Articles 19 and 300-A of the Constitution of India.

3. It is stated that the petitioner made a representation dated 02.11.2009 for according permission to undertake the work of quarrying and lifting of sand in the adjoining leased area under the Rules referred to above.

4. In view of the facts and circumstances, this Court is of the considered opinion that the writ petition be disposed of directing respondent No.2 to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 02.11.2009, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
