WRIT PETITION No.20003 of 2001
ORDER: (per the Hon’ble Sri Justice V. Eswaraiah)
When the matter was taken up for hearing on 08-04-2009, none appeared for the petitioners and as such, the matter was directed to be posted under the caption “for dismissal”. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri P.Venugopal, learned counsel for the petitioners stated that he has given up his vakalat long back and therefore he has no instructions.
In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, we are of the opinion that it is for the petitioners to make alternative arrangements either to appear by themselves or engage any other Advocate, if the counsel on record has given up his vakalat. Therefore, no fresh notice is required to be issued to the petitioners.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for default. There shall be no order as to costs.
