Petition under Article 226 of the constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the Affidavit filed herein the High Court will be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction and more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the demand in D.No.706 dated 11-3-2004 an amount of Rs.1,86,739/- towards the alleged power consumption charges described as "DDC-03" as illegal, arbitrary, contrary to the provisions of the Electricity Act, unsustainable and void and consequently set aside the same.

ORDER :
Today, when the matter is called, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.
It is submitted by the learned standing counsel for the respondents that the entire amount due towards the power consumption charges was already paid by the petitioner and no amounts are due towards power consumption charges as demanded in D.No.706 dated 11-03-2004.
As much as there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No order as to costs.
