This is an appeal filed by the State of Andhra Pradesh, represented by its Secretary, Medical, Health & Family Planning against the order of the learned single Judge in allowing the W.P.111/1999, dated 20.04.1999, holding that
the procedure adopted by the respondent University therein in making the selection and admission into the I year MBBS Course for the academic year 1998-99 is illegal, arbitrary and contrary to law.
As the admissions into the I year MBBS course for the academic year 1998-99 is already over and when there is no stay granted by this Court in the present appeal, We are of the opinion that nothing survives for consideration in the present writ appeal and the same has become infructuous.
The Writ Appeal is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
