It is represented by Smt. P. Bala Rani, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents that the petitioner herein had accepted voluntary retirement and in full and final settlement of all his dues paid a sum of Rs…49,860.40 Ps.
Learned Counsel would submit that in view of the subsequent event of the petitioner having voluntary retirement from service and having received payment in full and final settlement of all his dues the cause in the writ petition does not necessitate adjudication and that the writ petition has become infructuous.
Recording the submission of the learned Standing Counsel and since none appears for the petitioner the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
