It is submitted by learned counsel for both the parties that the controversy raised in these writ petitions is covered by a judgment of the Supreme Court reported in Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited and another vs. Union of India and others.
In this view of the matter, the writ petitions are disposed of in terms of the Supreme Court judgment referred to above and the respondents are at liberty to take any steps that may be available to them in terms of the said judgment. No order as to costs.
