ORDER:
The case of the petitioner is that he has submitted an application to the Excise Officials for grant of B licence for the year 2005-2006 under the name and style of M/S Bhargavi Bar and Restaurant in the premises bearing No.2-5-191 and 192 at Rachannapet, Zaheerabad, as per the Andhra Pradesh (Grant of licence of selling by Bar and conditions of Licences) Rules, 2005 by enclosing a challan for Rs.10,000/-. Accordingly, the local Excise officials inspected the premises and submitted a report to the third respondent. Being satisfied with the said report, the third respondent sent a proposal on 29.07.2005 to the first respondent to accord permission to grant licence to the petitioner. However, no further action is taken till now. Aggrieved thereby, this writ petition is filed.
The first respondent has to take appropriate decision on the application of the petitioner in accordance with law.
Therefore, without entering into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to take appropriate decision on the application of the petitioner as per rules and regulations within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
