ORDER:
In not allowing the petitioner to continue in service till he attains the age of 60 years and direct the respondent to continue him in service with all consequential benefits, the present writ petition is filed.
When this matter is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that in view of the interim direction issued by
this Court in W.P.M.P.No.15412/2001, dated 22-06-2001, the petitioner has been continued till his retirement and therefore, the cause in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication and thereby it has become infructuous.
Recording the above statement, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
