Petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to publish the results of the interviews held on 27.11.1998 for the two S.G. Education Volunteer/Vidya Volunteer posts pursuant to the notification dated 26.11.1998 as arbitrary and unreasonable.
Learned counsel appearing for the respective parties submit that the interviews, pursuant to the said notification, which is of the year 1998, have been completed and there survives no cause in the writ petition to be adjudicated. Hence, the writ petition has become infructuous.
Recording the above submission the writ petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
