The present writ petition has been filed with an innocuous prayer for early disposal of the suit which has been pending since 2017.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in S.B. Civil Writ Petition No. 21105/2018; titled as Ramesh Devnani vs

Smt. Lata Devnani & Ors. , a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court, vide order dated 20.05.2019, directed expeditious disposal of the suit. However, the suit has not been decided yet.

Considering the nature of the suit pending before the learned Trial Court, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the learned Trial Court, to decide the same as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary adjournments, and to give the suit proceeding a preference, provided that no other suit filed prior thereto is pending for disposal.

With the above observations, the present civil writ petition stands disposed of.
