The instant bail application under Section 483 BNSS has been filed by the applicant in connection with the FIR No.149/2026 registered at the Police Station C.P.S. Jaipur, ACB District, wherein she is charged for offence punishable under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that a petty amount of Rs.5000/- has been recovered at the instance of the applicant and she is in custody since June, 2026, so indulgence of bail be granted to the applicant.

Per contra , learned Public Prosecutor opposed the bail application and submitted that the matter is still at the investigation stage.

Heard and considered the submissions made at the Bar and perused the material available on record.

Considering the arguments put forward by learned Public Prosecutor and looking to the fact that since the matter is still at the stage of investigation, this Court is not inclined to entertain the instant bail application. Accordingly, the instant bail application stands dismissed.

However, the applicant would be at liberty to renew her prayer for bail after completion of investigation as well as submission of the charge-sheet.
