The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer:-

“It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon’ble Court may most graciously be pleased to accept and allow the writ petition and further be pleased to:-

(I) By appropriate writ order or directions, in the nature thereof, and thereby direct to the Respondents to accept application form of B.Ed. Exam 2014 in due paper Geography and History which was due in the B.Ed. Exam 2012.

(II) By appropriate writ order or directions the respondents may kindly be call the petitioner for Exam B.Ed. Exam-2014 in the subject of Geography and History.

(III) Any other order which this Hon’ble Court deems just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case may also be passed in favour of the petitioner.”

By way of filing this writ petition, a direction has been sought against the respondents to accept the application of the petitioner for appearance in due papers of Geography and History of B.Ed. Examination.

No interim order has been passed in this matter and this writ petition is pending before this Court since last more than 11 years.

By efflux of time, this writ petition has become infructuous.

¶25

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. Stay application as well as all applications (pending, if any) also stand dismissed.

However, the petitioner would be at liberty to move application for revival of this writ petition and for recall of this order in case any cause of action/grievance still survives.
