Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The present writ petition has been filed with the following

prayer :-

“That the respondents may kindly be directed to issue demand of the market price as on the date

of 02.09.1998 of the regularized land situated in khasra no.201 measuring 0.35 hectare and khasra no. 77 measuring 0.12 hectare of Village Angour, Tehsil Sumerpur, District Pali and after receiving the market price entered the name of the petitioners in the revenue record”.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in possession of the land in question being landless persons and, therefore, on an application preferred by them, the land was allotted to them on the market rate. Learned counsel further submits that there is correspondence between the Sub Divisional Officer, Sumerpur, District Pali and the District Collector, Pali with respect to the consideration of the case of the petitioners for making requisite entries in the revenue records after taking the market value of the land from them but despite there being a positive recommendation and the petitioners are prepared to pay the market value, the needful orders are not being passed for making requisite entries in the revenue records in favour of the petitioners. He, therefore, prays that the writ petition may be allowed and the Tehsildar Sumerpur, District Pali may be directed to make the requisite entries in the revenue record of the land in question in favour of the petitioners.

Learned State Counsel submits that the process for making the requisite entries in the revenue records is in progress and the same will be completed shortly.

Considering the submissions made before this Court, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent Nos.3 – Sub Divisional (Magistrate) Office, Sumerpur, District Pali and respondent No.4-Tehsildar Sumerpur, Tehsil Sumerpur, District Pali to complete the process of making requisite entries in the revenue record of the land in possession of the

petitioners after accepting the market value of the said land from the petitioners at the earliest preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order strictly in accordance with law.
