The present petition has been preferred with a prayer seeking direction that the present petitioner be appointed as a ‘Safai Karamchari’ qua the vacancies of ‘General Category’.

A perusal of the complete petition reflects that not a single averment to the effect that the petitioner ever applied for the post of ‘Safai Karamchari’ in pursuance to the recruitment process initiated in the year 2018, has been made. Further, not a single document to substantiate the fact that he had applied qua the said recruitment process and had not been selected, has been placed on record.

Meaning thereby, there is nothing available on record to conclude that the petitioner had applied for the said post and was not selected and further that he is eligible to be considered in light

of the directions as issued by this Court in the case of Virendra Kumar & Ors. vs. State of Rajasthan & Ors., D.B. Civil Special Appeal (Writ) No.1733/2018 (decided on 09.08.2019).

This Court is of the opinion that the directions as issued in Virendra Kumar’s case (supra) were qua the candidates who were eligible and had applied but could not be selected in the lottery system. Without there being any material on record to suggest that the present petitioner was also one such candidate, no direction, even of filing/consideration of a representation, can be granted in his favour.

In view of the same, no ground is made out to entertain the present petition and the same is hence, dismissed . 6. Stay petition and all pending applications, if any, stand disposed of .
