The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner with the
following prayer:-
“By any appropriate writ/order or direction, respondents may be directed to comply with the Rules of 1996 and provide information to petitioner as per Annx.-01 & 02.”
By way of filing this writ petition the petitioner is seeking directions against the respondent to decide the application filed by the petitioner under Rule 324 of Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Rules 1996, for short “The Rules of 1996”. Counsel for the petitioner submits that certain information was desired to be furnished by the respondents and for that purpose an application was submitted on 29.08.2023. Counsel submits that inspite of passing

of considerable time till date the said application has not been decided. So, a direction be issued to the Authorities to decide the application and provide the desired information to the petitioner. Considering the arguments put forward by the learned counsel for the petitioner and looking to the fact that the application under Rule 324 of the Rules 1996 is pending before the Authorities since August 2023 and till date the said application has not been decided.
Instant application stands disposed of with direction to the respondents to decide the application (pending if any) filed by the petitioner expeditiously as early as possible, preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
