The present writ petition has been preferred with limited prayers that respondent No.2 -Director, Mines And Geology Department, Directorate, Khanij Bhawan, Udaipur may be directed to pass an appropriate order in compliance of the order dated 17.03.2021 (Annex.6) passed by the Deputy Secretary (Mining Department), Jaipur within a stipulated time and further the respondents may be directed to consider the application of the

extension of the mining lease in accordance with the Rajasthan Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 2017.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that till date, the respondent No.2 has not complied with the order dated 17.03.2021, which has been passed by the Deputy Secretary (Mining Department), Jaipur and thus, respondent No.2 may be given a direction to make compliance of the order dated 17.03.2021.

In view of the limited submissions made, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondent No.2 to pass an order while taking into consideration the order dated 17.03.2021 (Annex.6) as well as to consider the application of extension of mining lease of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of this order.

With the aforesaid direction, the instant writ petition as well as stay application and all pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
