The present writ petition has been preferred aggrieved of the inaction of the respondent authorities in considering the

application as preferred by the petitioner firm for renewal of registration of its Mobile Retail Outlet of Biodiesel.

Counsel submits that the petitioner firm was granted registration certificate in the year 2021 which was valid for a period of one year. After expiry of the said period, an application for renewal of the registration was filed on 13.08.2024 (AnnexureA/4) but the same remains pending as of date. He therefore, makes a limited submission that the respondent authorities be directed to take decision on the application for registration renewal of the petitioner firm.

In view of the limited submission made, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities to decide/take action on the application dated 13.08.2024 (Annexure-A/4) as preferred by the petitioner firm. The decision, whatsoever, be taken within a period of three weeks from now.

It is made clear that aforesaid direction to decide the application has been issued only with a view to ensure expeditious redressal of petitioner's grievance. The same may not be construed to be an order to decide the application in a particular manner.

Stay petition and all pending applications, if any, stand disposed of .
