This criminal writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking protection from the private respondent Nos. 5 and 6 as he is apprehending danger to his life and liberty at the hands of private respondents.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a practicing Advocate in the court of Additional District Judge,

Phagi. He submits that an FIR has also been lodged by the petitioner against the private respondents as he was assaulted by them. He submits that in these circumstances, an appropriate direction may be issued to the concerned Police Station to provide protection to the petitioner.

In view of the above factual averments, petitioner is directed to file appropriate application seeking protection before respondent no.4- Station House Officer, Police Station Phagi, District Dudu (Raj.) and respondent no.4 is directed to provide protection to the petitioner, if any application is filed before him and he would ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioner.

The criminal writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.

Stay application(s), if any, shall also disposed of.

It is made clear that this order shall not prejudice/affect any other legal proceedings initiated between the parties.
