Matter comes up on a misc. application for seeking extension of time for surrender before the trial Court in compliance of the order dated 21.12.2022 passed by this Court while deciding S.B. Criminal Misc. Petition No. 9633/2022.
Counsel for the applicant-petitioner submits that while deciding the aforesaid petition, 15 days time was granted to the petitioner to surrender before the Trial Court. Counsel submits that immediately after completion of the winter break, the petitioner had put appearance before the Trial Court on 05.01.2023 but was not allowed to surrender and furnish his personal and surety bonds because the time prescribed by this

Court was expired a day before. Counsel submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to surrender before the trial Court, hence some time be granted for his appearance and furnishing personal and surety bonds.
Application stands allowed for the reasons stated therein.
Seven days’ further time from today is granted to the petitioner to appear before the trial Court and furnish his personal bond and surety bond. It is made clear that in case, the petitioner fails to appear before the Trial Court within the above stipulated time, indulgence granted by this Court would stand automatically cancelled and no further indulgence would be granted to the petitioner.
