Petitioner has preferred this habeas corpus petition seeking production of the corpus, who happens to be wife of petitioner.

Corpus has been produced before the Court by Mr. Ramniwas, S.I. S.H.O. Police Station Mandrayal, District Karauli & Ms. Renu Sharma, F.C.-274. The efforts put in by the police officials in tracing and producing the corpus are appreciated.

We have interacted with the corpus.

Corpus has stated before us that she wants to go with present petitioner, her husband.

¶24

Since, corpus is a major and wishes to go with present petitioner, who is her husband, we deem it proper to allow the present habeas corpus petition.

¶25

The present Habeas Corpus Petition is accordingly, allowed.

Custody of the corpus is handed over to the petitioner, her husband, today in the Court.

Vide order dated 01.06.2023, petitioner was directed to deposit a demand draft of Rs.10,000/- drawn in favour of the corpus with the Registrar (Judicial). Registrar (Judicial) is now directed to hand over the same to the corpus today itself.

Copy of this order be provided to the learned Assistant Government Advocate for necessary compliance.
