The present writ petition has been filed with the prayer that the petitioners may be paid the remuneration in accordance with the notification dated 28.06.2022 (Annex.4).

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are serving as contractual employees in the respondent department and are being paid the remuneration less than the remuneration prescribed in the notification of the State Government dated 28.06.2022 (Annex.4). He further submits that the petitioners have preferred a representation dated 07.01.2022 (Annex.8) to the respondents for redressal of their grievances, however, the same has not yet been decided. Learned counsel, therefore, submits that the respondents may be directed to decide the pending representation of the petitioners at the earliest.

Considering the limited prayer of the petitioners, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the pending representation dated 07.01.2022 (Annex.8) of the petitioner at the earliest, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, strictly in accordance with law.
