It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the State has promulgated the Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Posts Rules, 2022 (‘the Rules of 2022’) and under the provisions of Rule 3 providing for Scope and application, those working on

the posts created on contract basis from the date of commencement of the Rules are covered.

The petitioners have made a representation to the State in this regard, seeking inclusion under the Rules of 2022, however, the representation made by the petitioners has not been adverted to by the State and therefore, the State may be directed to pass appropriate order on the representation made by the petitioners.

In view of the submissions made, the writ petition filed by the petitioners is disposed of. The petitioners may file a fresh detailed representation with the respondent- State.

It is expected from the State to decide the same appropriately and expeditiously.

The stay petition also stands disposed of.

The order has been passed based on the submissions made in the petition, the respondents would be free to examine the veracity of the submissions made in the petition and only in case, the averments made therein are found to be correct, the petitioners would be entitled to the relief.
