This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking permanent parole.
Reply to the petition has been filed indicating that as the petitioner has not completed the minimum sentence without remission, he is not entitled to permanent parole.
Counsel for the petitioner made submission that the period of sentence as indicated as or, 20.02.2023 is 13 years 10 months and 18 days and now the petitioner has completed the requisite 14 years' sentence without remission.
Admittedly, no order on the application filed by the petitioner has been passed by the respondents.
In view of the above fact situation, the petition is disposed of. The respondents are directed to pass appropriate order on the pending application, if any. Petitioner would be free to file fresh
