This parole petition has been filed on behalf of the petitioner – Sharwan Singh S/o Sh. Bhanwar Singh aggrieved with the condition imposed by the District Level Parole Committee, Barmer in its meeting dated 22.12.2022 for furnishing two sureties of Rs.25,000/- each with a personal bond for the purpose of availing fifth 40 days’ parole.
In the letter petition, petitioner submits that earlier also when he was ordered to be released on parole on his furnishing personal bond.
Submissions have been made that the petitioner is not in a position to furnish two sureties of Rs.25,000/- each as ordered and on account of such inability, the petitioner is being deprived of

the parole and therefore, he may be granted parole on furnishing a personal bond.
Further submissions have been made that on previous four occasions, the petitioner was released on personal bond by orders dated 05.07.2016 passed in D.B. Parole Petition No.6221/2016, 21.12.2017 passed in D.B. Civil Writ Petition No.16804/2017, 28.01.2019 passed in D.B. Cr. Writ Petition No.494/2019 & 28.09.2021 passed in D.B. Cr. Writ Petition No.502/2021 respectively.
The prayer is opposed by the learned Government Advocate. However, it is not disputed that on the earlier occasions the petitioner was released on personal bond.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and after going through the record, this petition is allowed and the Dy. Superintendent, District Jail, Barmer is directed to release the petitioner - Shrawan Singh, S/o Bhanwar Singh, R/o Chamdiyak, Police Station Sojat City, Dist. Pali on fifth parole of 40 days on furnishing a personal bond of Rs.50,000/- only.
All the other conditions imposed vide order dated 22.12.2022 shall remain the same.
