In wake of instant surge in COVID-19 cases and spread of its highly infectious Omicron variant, abundant caution is being maintained, while hearing the matters in the Court, for the safety of all concerned.

By way of this writ petition, the petitioner sought mainly two reliefs; one is for grant of the TSP certificate, which has been granted to the petitioner; second was for the petitioner to be treated in accordance with the merits in the selection process in question.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if he is permitted to make representation before the respondents for being considered in the selection process in
