In wake of instant surge in COVID-19 cases and spread of its highly infectious Omicron variant, lawyers have been advised to refrain from coming to the Courts.
The petitioner has preferred this writ petition claiming the following reliefs:-

“1. By an appropriate writ, order or direction that the order/communication dated 17.01.2018 (Annex.P/4) passed by the Executive Engineer, Water Resources Division, Rawatsar District Hanumangarh may kindly be declared illegal and quashed and set aside.
2. By an appropriate, writ order or direction, the present irrigation facility may kindly not be changed without hearing to the petitioner and other affected agriculturists in mid session of crops.”
At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the entitlement of the petitioner, his volume of irrigation water being not affected is the main concern of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the respondents undertakes before this Court that the volume of water, as entitled to the petitioner, shall not be affected in the proceedings in question.
In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondents to ensure that the entitled proportion/volume of the water to be made available for irrigation to the petitioner and shall not be impacted by any of the steps taken by the State. The petitioner shall be at liberty to come back to this Court, in case any need arises.
Stay petition as well as all pending applications stand disposed of accordingly.
