In wake of instant surge in COVID-19 cases and spread of its highly infectious Omicron variant, lawyers have been advised to refrain from coming to the Courts.

The petitioner has preferred this writ petition claiming for the following prayers:-

“A/. By an appropriate writ and direction the respondents may kindly be directed to recheck the disputed papers properly of the B.Sc. II^nd year and they may be directed to award the marks properly. B/. By an appropriate writ and direction the respondents may kindly be directed to constitute the Committee to check the answer sheets of the petitioner properly of the B.Sc. II^nd year and they may be directed to award the appropriate marks to each and every answer of the petitioner.

C/. By an appropriate writ and direction the respondents may kindly be directed to award full marks in the paper mathematics of B.Sc. II^nd

year as the respondent has found every answer to be correct therefore, petitioner is entitled for full marks.”

Counsel for the petitioner has tried to demonstrate from record that the examiner has awarded lesser marks to petitioner in B.Sc. II^nd year.

Mr. DD Chitlangi, counsel for the respondent, has shown from Annex.R/1 that complete reconsideration of the matter has been made by the competent Authority through the Examiner concerned and they are seeking mark-sheet of present petitioner so that appropriate changes in mark-sheets could be done.

Mr. Chitlangi further submits that in case marksheets are filed before the University, then all necessary redressal shall be made.

In light of assurance given by counsel for the University, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to furnish his mark-sheet before the University within 15 days from today for necessary redressal. The petitioner shall be given opportunity of hearing and necessary corollary in pursuance of order dated 26.02.2019 shall be followed by the University within a period of one month from today. The petitioner shall be at liberty to come back before this Court, if required.
