The convict petitioner Smt. Chota Devi W/o Shri Poonam Chand has been granted regular parole of forty days by District Level Parole Advisory Committee, Jodhpur in its meeting held on 18.10.2022 whereby she has been directed to furnish a personal

bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- and two sureties in the sum of Rs.25,000/- each (duly verified by Tehsildar concerned) as a pre-requisite condition for being released on parole. The convictpetitioner has approached this Court by way of this writ petition seeking waiver in the condition of furnishing surety bonds owing to her poor financial position.

Having regard to the overall facts and circumstances of the case and considering that by effect of order dated 18.01.2021 passed in D.B. Criminal Writ Petition No.19/2021, the petitioner has satisfactorily availed second parole of thirty days without any complaint whatsoever on furnishing personal bond, we deem it proper to release the petitioner on regular parole of forty days by waiving the condition of furnishing two surety bonds as imposed by the District Parole Advisory Committee, Jodhpur and it is directed that the convict petitioner Smt. Chota Devi W/o Shri Punam Chand shall be released on regular parole of forty days upon her furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- to the satisfaction of Superintendent, Central Jail, Jodhpur. However, the other conditions of the order dated 28.10.2022 qua the convict petitioner are maintained.
