Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks closure of the case in relation to Section 307 IPC on account of a compromise arrived at between the parties.
This Court finds that the offence includes 307 IPC, in which, the compromise cannot be accepted as per the precedent law laid down by the Hon’ble Apex Court in Narinder Singh Vs. State of
Punjab [(2014) 6 SCC 466].
In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed with the liberty to the petitioner to take up all the issues before the learned trial court at appropriate stage.
Stay petition as well as all pending applications stand disposed of.
