Petitioner has filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking permanent parole.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has undergone more than 14 years of sentence and is entitled to avail regular parole as per provisions of the relevant rules. Learned counsel further submitted that presently the petitioner is confined in Open Air Camp, Jaipur.
A perusal of the impugned order dated 30.03.2020 (Annex.-1), reveals that the application moved by the petitioner

for his release of permanent parole was rejected on the ground that he had misused the concession of parole earlier granted to him. The petitioner was required to surrender before the jail authorities on 19.07.2007 after availing 20 days parole, however, the petitioner was arrested on 26.08.2011.
Since, the petitioner had misused the concession of parole, the request of the petitioner for grant of permanent parole was rightly rejected by the competent authority. No ground for grant of permanent parole to the petitioner is made out.
Dismissed.
