In wake of onslaught of COVID-19, abundant caution is being taken while hearing the matters in Court.
Counsel for appellant-Insurance Company submits that Award to the extent of 50% has been complied with by the New India Assurance Co. Ltd., and rest of 50% of Award has been complied with by RSRTC as it was a case of composite negligence and the Insurance Company as well as RSRTC were jointly and severally held liable to pay compensation.
Counsel for the respondent-RSRTC agrees with the same. Thus, no adjudication at this stage is required.
The appeal is disposed of accordingly.
