Petitioner has filed this petition seeking a direction to the Appellate Court to dispose of the appeal filed by the respondent against the petitioner expeditiously.
Petitioner had filed eviction petition against the respondent and the same was allowed vide order dated 10.05.2017. Aggrieved against the said order, respondent has preferred appeal on 7.7.2017. However, till date, the appeal has not been disposed of. Hence, petitioner has filed the present petition.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the prayer made by the petitioner is reasonable.
Accordingly, Appellate Court is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner expeditiously preferably within three months of the receipt of the certified copy of this order.
Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
