This criminal writ (parole) petition has been filed by the petitioner-Prabhu @ Prabhu Lal seeking modification of the order dated 14.10.2019 passed by District Parole Advisory Committee, Dungarpur, whereby the petitioner is directed to be released on second parole for 30 days on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- and two sureties of Rs.25,000/- each.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not in a position to furnish two sureties, as directed by the District Parole Advisory Committee, thus, the order dated 14.10.2019 may be modified in the terms that the petitioner may

be released on parole if he furnishes a personal bond of Rs.50,000/- and one sound surety of the like amount.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, we consider it appropriate to modify the order dated 14.10.2019, as prayed.

Accordingly, the writ petition (parole) is allowed. The petitioner Prabhu @ Prabhu Lal S/o. Nanji shall be released on second parole for a period of 30 days on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- and one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Superintendent, Central Jail, Udaipur on reasonable terms and conditions to be determined by the Superintendent, Central Jail, Udaipur for the security of the petitioner so also to ensure his return to jail after availing the parole. The other conditions imposed by District Advisory Committee shall remain as it is.
