The present petition has been registered on the letter of convict-prisoner Chandradev Rahi wherein it is stated that the mother of the petitioner expired on 09.11.2018. The application filed by the petitioner seeking parole was allowed by District Magistrate, Jodhpur on 24.12.2018 and the petitioner was granted parole for 20 days subject to furnishing a personal bond of Rs.50,000/- along with two sureties of Rs.25,000/- each but he failed to furnish the sureties, therefore, he could not be released on parole. The petitioner prays that he may be granted parole subject to furnishing personal bond only.

Since the mother of the petitioner expired on 09.11.2018, more than one year has already passed, in these circumstances, the present criminal writ petition has become infructuous and the same is dismissed accordingly. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the District Magistrate, Jodhpur afresh after expiry of three months.
