Learned counsel appearing for the appellant submits that the controversy involved in the present appeal stands covered by order dated 6.3.18 passed by a Coordinate Bench in a batch of appeals led by D.B.Central/excise Appeal No.68/2017 (Union of India Vs. M/s Sharda Gum & Chemicals (Unit-II). However, in view of the Circular No. F.No.390/Misc./116/2017-JC dated 11.7.18 issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs, the tax effect involved in the present appeal being less than 50,00,000/(Fifty lacs), learned counsel appearing for the appellant, seeks permission to withdraw the appeal.
The permission is granted.
The appeal is dismissed as withdrawn.
