Learned counsel for the petitioner does not want to press this writ petition at this stage but seeks liberty to file a representation for necessary consideration of the candidature after making proper correction in the dates in question.

In light of such submission, the present writ petition is dismissed as not pressed. However, the respondents are directed to sympathetically consider and decide the representation of the petitioner within a period of 30 days from the date of representation while keeping in mind the prayers made by the petitioner as well as outcome of the O.A. No.71/2017 (Babu Ram vs. U.O.I.) pending before Armed Forces Tribunal regarding the
