It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the issue raised in the present writ petition is squarely covered by judgment of this Court in Rajesh Kumar & Anr. vs. State of Rajasthan & Ors. : S.B. Civil Writ Petition No. 13790/2018, decided on 06.10.2018 and Division Bench judgment in Thawara Ram vs. State & Ors. : D.B.Special Appeal (Writ) No. 1732/2018 decided 14.11.2018.
Learned counsel for the respondents does not dispute the said position.

In view of the submissions made, the writ petition filed by the petitioner is allowed. The result of the petitioner pertaining to the PET conducted by the respondents is quashed and setaside. The respondents are directed to hold fresh PET for the petitioner on 15.12.2018 at Rajasthan Police Training Centre, Mandore Road, Jodhpur and based on the performance of the petitioner, if the petitioner passes the PET and his name appears in the merit-list, he shall be granted appointment from the date other candidates were granted appointment pursuant to the recruitment with actual benefits from the date of appointment.
