It is stated by learned counsel for respondents that a decision has been taken by the Government to construct a dam for supply of water for the village where petitioner is residing and till then, they are supplying water through tanks in 48 hours.

In view of the above, nothing survives now in this writ petition as measures have been taken to solve the problem of drinking water. The Government is however directed to erect the dam at the earliest.
The writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid.
