It is stated that the petitioner was unwell, and therefore, could not submit his application form for consideration of his candidature in response to advertisement issued, wherein applications were invited from eligible candidates for appointment to the post of Teacher Grade-III (Level-I) with last date of filing of online application as 30th April, 2018.
Petitioner has relied upon the prescription of the treating due for whereby the petitioner was advised rest for 5 days on 20th April, 2018, and thereafter, again advised to rest for two weeks by

the same Medical Officer on 17th April, 2018. Even if, the reasons of sickness are taken to be correct; the petitioner still could have submitted his application form in between 12th to 17th April, 2018. Further, there is no evidence on record that the petitioner was so seriously sick and admitted as an indoor patient, which precluded him from participating in the recruitment process wherein the last date of submission of application form was 30th April, 2018.
For the reasons aforesaid and in factual matrix of the case at hand; writ application is devoid of any substance, and therefore, deserves to be dismissed.
