This writ petitioner has been filed to seek permanent parole under Rule 9 of the Rajasthan Prisoners (Release on Parole) Rules, 1958.

An application for grant of permanent parole was submitted by the petitioner and is pending before the Committee. It is alleged that the Parole Committee is not taking a decision on the application. Thus, present petition may be disposed of with a direction to the Parole Committee to take final decision on the application for grant of permanent parole.
